The Senior Business Analyst leads the design, development, and execution of new financial systems and upgrades to current financial systems. Serves as a financial or accounting systems subject matter expert, providing guidance and structure during all phases of new application implementation and major upgrades. Seeks out the best ways to improve processes in accounting and increase effectiveness through technology, strategy, analytics and solutions. The senior analyst works to bridge gaps among departments or processes with improved technical efficiency and productivity, bringing an expert level of understanding in accounting or financial reporting/analysis to the work performed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or information technology plus minimum of five (5) years of related technical and/or business experience required. Project management, process improvement, and programming languages experience also required. Proven experience in positions requiring an understanding and practical application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
