  • Overview

    SUMMARY:

     

    The Vice President will be fully accountable for the strategic, long-term evolution of the Medical & Science division in the US; including the overall direction and operational/financial management of all business activities. The Vice President leads a team dedicated to client sales and delivery.  This includes new business development, recruitment/ fulfilment and the management of their team.  The Vice President is responsible for the ongoing development of a high-efficiency delivery model, delivering exceptional customer service, driving profitable growth, and the creation of an inclusive and dynamic work environment.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Financial and Operational Analytics: 
      • Full accountability for monthly P&L / budget analysis and results of the onsite and hubsite business units
      • Proactively review and monitor processes/procedures and implement improvements where possible to reduce cost to service
      • Direct and manage the completion the bi-annual roadbook assessment and identify and implement action plans accordingly
      • Prepare and present a monthly/quarterly business review to the Regional Leader for all onsite and hubsite business units
      • Engage with the Onsite Warrior Community when appropriate for shared best practices and/or to identify and implement an improvement plan as needed

     

    • People Management:
      • Day-to-day management of colleague performance to include coaching and development of the Hubsite and Onsite teams to ensure all service levels and performance metrics are met
      • Ensure the team is demonstrating the company’s core values in the delivery of a customer-centric service – ‘walk the talk’
      • Create and maintain mechanisms/forums to seek and act upon candidate and associate feedback for continuous improvement
      • Facilitate monthly meetings one on one with all direct reports to review established KPI metrics, overall performance and career goals.

     

    • Client Administration, Satisfaction and Focus:
      • Continuously work with Strategic Delivery Managers and Strategic Program Managers to anticipate clients’ needs based on historical and current business activity and knowledge of client markets.
      • Serve as second level escalation point for Client, Procurement, Operations and HR Managers to discuss issues or requests involving the onsite programs.
      • Ensure all agreed upon client requirements (both operational and contractual) are completed and in line with agreed SLA targets.
      • Strive for strategic ingenuity through the development, implementation and measurement of process efficiencies, productivity metrics and quality of service.
      • Maintain high levels of Customer Satisfaction Survey feedback through scheduling regular business reviews with the client
      • Contribute to the commercial development of strategic prospects and accounts (acquisition, migration, market share, cross sell services)
      • Develop a strategy for driving profitable sales growth through client acquisition and penetration.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
    • Minimum of five years managerial/supervisory experience in the service provider industry; Prior Medical & Science Staffing Industry experience highly preferred
    • Must have a proven track record measured by customer service levels and satisfaction, increased responsibilities, and working relationships with colleagues and management.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
    • Ability to strategically plan and serve as a catalyst for organizational change, cultivate a shared vision with others & motivate them to transfer vision into action
    • Must be able to interact and communicate effectively (written and oral) with all levels of staff and management, in one-on-one and in group presentation situations
    • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and ability to learn new software are required.
    • Adept at establishing and managing to KPIs and SLAs
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and networks.
    • In-depth knowledge of current recruiting practices abiding by federal and state laws and Company policies.
    • High energy & results-driven, solution oriented attitude.
