  • Overview



    The Global Director Of Finance oversees financial planning, KPI measurement, variance analysis and reporting. Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.



    • Drives annual and long-range budget and financial planning.
    • Owns the financial and headcount models, which includes ongoing maintenance, review, and evolution as the business evolves.
    • Owns the weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast and related variance analysis.
    • Co-owns (with the CEO) the weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational KPIs, proposes action items on findings, and works closely with business owners to track those actions to completion.
    • Leads monthly headcount planning with recruiting and senior leadership.
    • Presents quarterly (at least) to senior management in Europe (travel required).
    • Prepares weekly and monthly management reports and analyses.
    • Directs and reviews the preparation and submission of commission calculations for payroll, working cross-functionally with analytics and payroll.
    • Leads the monthly close process, including review of financials and variances, and provide feedback.
    • Oversees ad hoc projects and business analysis as needed.
    • Works closely with C-suite executives as well as relating to colleagues in a casual startup environment.
    • Develops and implements FP&A best practices, procedures, and processes.



    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 4+ years of relevant finance experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
    • Experience at a technology or other high-growth company a plus.


    • Deep understanding of GAAP and overall accounting principles, FP&A, budgeting & forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting.
    • Highly skilled in building financial models and forecasts.
    • Experience with KPI reporting – identifying metrics and developing dashboards.
    • Experience collaborating cross-functionally, ideally in a multinational environment.
    • Data-driven and prefer to base decisions on data and ROI.
    • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to deliver under pressure
    • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
    • Ability to foster an innovative and collaborative environment using advanced leadership, communication & organizational skills
    • Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while successfully meeting deadlines
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
