    Summary:

    Team Leads are responsible for managing efficiency, quality, production, and communication to support the successful delivery of Electronic Discovery projects. Team Leads are expected to maintain line-balancing, prioritization of job requests and organization of technician assignments utilizing existing tools and controls within the Department. The Team Lead will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all other Operations Litigation Support, IT & Finance.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of the project workflow within External Operations to achieve required delivery, quality, cost and communication metrics. Workflow components include, but not limited to:

    o   Operations Stand-up Meetings

    o   Communication within the Department and outward to Internal Clients (LSPM)

    o   Data Evidence and Management

    o   Reporting

    o   Data Filtering and Staging

    o   Processing

    o   Loading of Data

    o   Production Deliveries

    o   Project Tracking Logs

    o   Status Updates

    o   Emerald (PTS) and Job Board maintenance

     

    • Transition shift highlights and priorities to the next team lead in an accurate, timely and efficient matter utilizing established tools or reports
    • Ensure that projects are delivered on time per established deadline and specifications.
    • Establish and update the Data Ops board with deadline adherence. Ensure that this is usable and maintained throughout the shift/day.
    • Document any downtime and its cause.

     

    Other Duties:

     

    • Participate in an ongoing Continuous Improvement, Irreversible Corrective Action and Change Control, establishing written procedures and quality control processes
    • Interface with the LSPM group to manage overall project requirements, deadlines and quality.
    • Coordinate with LSPM personnel to validate technical specifications and identify scoping questions to accomplish requests, including enlisting support from experienced technicians (QA) when needed
    • Properly escalate out-of-scope requests to the Project LSPM for prompt client consultation, or to LSA for internal evaluation, where appropriate
    • As assigned

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements:

    Minimum of Associates Degree from an accredited institution

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

    • 1 year in workflow/line-balancing experience
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Computer skills in SQL, Ipro Suite, Relativity Suite,
    • Ability to learn and apply new concepts as well as overcome obstacles with change.
    • Ability to coach / mentor / inspire others.
    • Enthusiastic, dedicated to the challenge of helping other people.
    • Lead by example.
    • Provide feedback to team members, recognizing excellent performance as well as documenting performance issues.

    Certifications Required:

    • Any additional Lean Master or Six Sigma certifications, preferred.
    • e-discovery platform certifications, preferred.
