  • Overview

    The Account Manager III is responsible for leading a team that grows sales within existing client accounts across a geographic region, as well as servicing and growing sales within existing client accounts. Fosters key business relationships with existing clients. Leads the development of client-specific strategies and solutions to service accounts, increase sales and meet expectations for profitability and client satisfaction. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provides guidance to other team members. May act in a leadership capacity in absence of management.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manages, trains and motivates team to meet and/or exceed sales performance targets.
    • May be accountable for a personal portfolio of client accounts.
    • Fosters an environment that promotes teamwork and high quality customer service.
    • Leads the development of client-specific strategies to achieve revenue, gross profit and other financial targets.
    • Identifies sales growth opportunities with existing client accounts.
    • Conducts site visits and meetings with clients.
    • Develops effective relationships with key client contacts.
    • Negotiates new client contracts, renewals, extensions and amendments.
    • Negotiates and secures profitable pricing and pay models.
    • Builds and maintains subject matter expertise on industry trends, market activities and competitor strategies.
    • Recommends and assists with implementing service offering improvements.
    • Leads the establishment of sales, pricing and marketing strategies.
    • Assesses the effectiveness of strategies and best practices.
    • Produces and analyzes account management, sales forecasts and other related reports.
    • Staffing Industry experience mandatory 
    • Payroll industry experience preferred
    • HR experience preferred

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s degree in business or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of account management or sales experience required. Combination of post-high school education and professional work experience equivalent to nine (9) years may be considered in lieu of a degree. Previous experience in the staffing and/or human resources solutions industries is highly desirable.

    • Knowledge of and the ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management Systems and/or related tools.
    • Knowledge of current account management and sales trends, best practices and methodologies within the staffing and workforce solutions industries.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
