  • Overview




    For assigned area, manages and evaluates all operational activities to facilitate maximum productivity from our field colleagues.  Directly oversees branch operational staff as assigned.  Will specialize in and lead a team of field Coordinators specializing in Direct Hire and Sales Support.   

    This position is flexible, with possibility to work from various locations.




    • Effectively leads field operations team within assigned area(s), ensuring we have the right people in place through effective hiring, training, coaching, expectation setting and oversight. Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role.
    • Works effectively across all lines of business within Special Counsel to ensure understanding of and alignment with overall company strategy, priorities, and goals.  
    • In absence of local branch management, acts as escalation point for day to day branch operational needs in areas including compliance matters, expense/supply purchasing review and approval, disaster/inclement weather planning, and general branch coverage. 
    • Aids in the implementation, execution and ongoing validation of standard business processes and procedures, working to continually increase operating efficiency, removing non-value adding activities and consolidating lower-value activities to improve performance and productivity measurements.
    • Serves as primary liaison between field colleagues and back office departments, ensuring regular and effective communication as well as partnering to resolve back office challenges.
    • Reviews and monitors financial measurements as applicable. 
    • Ensures that company policies and procedures are implemented and followed within assigned area, effectively cascading information to colleagues within assigned area and following up to ensure understanding and compliance. 
    • Cooperates with internal compliance groups on branch audits and supports remediation efforts, recommending, implementing, and documenting process improvement efforts.
    • Assists with implementation and testing of systems, processes and digital tools that impact business operations and serves as change champion.
    • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
    • Travel up to 40% to assigned regional branches for onboarding, training and mentoring  





    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience plus minimum 2 years of experience in a service provider environment.  
    • Supervisory/Management experience preferred.
    • Experienced with, passion for, and proven track record of operational excellence 
    • Prior Sales or Marketing experience preferred if specializing in Sales Support.





    • Skilled in communicating technical and non-technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.

    • Ability to effectively lead teams, directly or indirectly, to achieve desired results.

    • Effective collaborator with strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across a broad and complex organization.

    • Skilled change agent with ability to thrive and champion change within a rapidly evolving business environment.

    • Exceptional detail-orientation and follow-up skills.

    • Strong aptitude for front office systems and operational reporting tools.

    • Strong analytical and basic financial acumen.  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. 

    • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    • Ability to design and lead basic marketing and sales efforts to be executed by the Coordinator team.  Creativity and social media savvy required.

    • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
