    JOB SUMMARY:


    The NAI-Data Engineer partners with Solution Engineer to gather, analyze and prepare client data for implementation into various Vendor Management Systems (VMS). Analyzes alphanumeric data in various formats (Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, PeopleSoft/Oracle/SAP files etc.). Identifies gaps, discrepancies, anomalies in the initial data. Works with the Solution Engineer to evaluate and configure the overall client workflow and hierarchy in a demo site to take advantage of the tool’s features for the most effective and efficient use of the application based on the client requirements. Upon final client signoff on configuration set-up correct/adjust and build clean files for delivery to the Solution Configuration team for loading.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Analyzes client data (spreadsheets, CSV files and Peoplesoft/Oracle reports) for scope/size, element relationships, duplicates to determine overall workflow, hierarchy and the configuration set up to support the solution.
    • Edits client data (Excel spreadsheets, CSV files and Peoplesoft/Oracle reports) for consistent, valid data (typos, construct key names)
    • Converts data to load files (parse out, eliminate dupes, create parents, save)
    • Prepares initial client demo to go into production, ensure all reason codes, and report selections for each master vendor is consistent
    • Maintains understanding of complex application; troubleshoot issues. Understands the complex structure of the how the hierarchy works within the various Vendor Management Systems tools to be able to leverage for client solutions.
    • Works cross-functionally and communicates with Solution Engineers, Training team, Adecco implementation staff and with client appointed data contacts.
    • Must be time-flexible to coordinate work loads with tight timelines.
    • Configures demo sites for Adecco/clients as well as be able to understand and test all aspects of the VMS application.
    • Ensures standard templates and tools are continually reevaluated and updated as required.

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
    Requires 25-50% Travel.

    Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2 years experience in data analysis and conversion.
    • Experience with configuring ERP or other workflow-based software desired.
    • Knowledge of the staffing industry helpful and/or project management in IT fields. Experience with Oracle, PeopleSoft and SAP data reports.
    • Excellent skills in MS office, especially Visio, Excel and Access.
