The Adecco Group Supervisor – Credit and Collections establishes and reevaluates credit limits through sound business decisions that protect the integrity of the account receivable department. Monitors all field activity in order to mitigate risk and maximize profitability for the organization. Provides development and supervision to ensure credit employees reach their full productivity potential. Hires, supervises, trains and evaluates other department staff, which includes the Contract Administration. Works under general supervision. Manages all second level collection accounts.

  • Supervises, trains and evaluates other department staff as appropriate. Hires, motivates and disciplines employees as required.
  • Ensures conformance with established Credit department procedures for all Professional Staffing Business Units.
  • Ensures confromance with estanlished Contract department procesdures for all Professional Staffing Business Units.
  • Reviews field activity to identify potential risks and contact field personnel to determine a strategy to initiating the collection process, adjusting credit lines or assigning a client as high risk.
  • Analyzes new credit applications and re-evaluate data on exiting accounts to establish credit lines for clients. 
  • Maintains contact with Dunn & Bradstreet (D&B) on a monthly basis to evaluate write-off activity and ensure appropriate credit lines are maintained for all clients.
  • Analyzes financial reports and provides recommendations for credit limit adjustments. 
  • Reviews all available data including net worth, financials, quick ratio, cash flow and prior history of existing, or potential clients to establish or adjust credit lines to ensure prompt turnover of accounts receivable.
  • Analyzes credit line variance reports to identify unusual branch activity. Contacts branch staff to investigate and resolve any issues. Ensures management is apprised of potential risks. 
  • Confers with management regarding action initiated on delinquent accounts.
  • Maintains the D & B matrix and updates. Monitors monthly activity to determine if the net worth of a client has changed. Modifies credit lines as appropriate.
  • Maintains all collection accounts escalated to second level and is also responsible for managing third party collections and demand letters. 
  • Manages collections and administration for bankruptcies.


Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors or Associate’s Degree is desired, in a related field or the equivalent required.
  • Three to five years credit and collection experience generally required. 
  • Three to five years of contract review experience generall required.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with analyzing financial statements. 
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Be flexible with new assignments and meet deadlines under limited supervision. 
  • Proficiency on MS Office, Outlook, spreadsheets and various other office applications. 
  • Excellent oral/written communication, organizational, interpersonal and motivational skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management also required.
