Overview

The Operations Manager to lay down the blueprint for Adia's local operations. This position will need to have a proactive approach and a deep understanding of the general staffing market. The Operations Manager is expected to be organized, resilient, process orientated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position should be able to manage a succession of high-volume, high-frequency projects whilst maintaining back office operations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Ensure quality of general pool and smooth private pool management
    • Follow up with candidates to ensure 100% profile completeness
    • Establish a process to verify and vet candidates together with central team
    • Help clients to transition their private pools
    • Onboard Adecco existing candidates and ensure profile completion
  • Target a fulfillment ratio of 100% & Maintain marketplace liquidity
    • The matching algorithm has still to improve, manual force matches can be required
    • Work with product team to ensure the quality of the matching system improves and become more automated
    • Work with ADIA marketing to increase / decrease or adjust the level of marketing spend in order to fill the pool of candidates based on KPIs
  • Post sales
    • Support clients and help them to set up into the platform after initial sales contact happened
    • Follow up with clients that are no longer active on the platform in order to generate more leads
  • Payroll – ensure cooperation with payroll provider
    • Establish and streamline the processes and work with product team to fully automatize the payroll process
  • Email / Phone support
    • Provide clients and candidates with email and phone support based on the respective plans
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree is desirable.

 

Minimum 5 – 7 years experience in leading recruitment or customer service teams.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Very organized and process oriented: processes must be set up from scratch and streamlined as much as possible.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Resilient: project has board level visibility and, due to fast development, product failures are around the corner. The person needs to be able to thrive in uncertain conditions.
  • Very deep understanding of general staffing operations, systems and organization (lot of cooperation required with payroll / legal / finance teams) in order to speed up the process (only for internal candidates)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
