The Senior Vice President role is responsible for setting the vision, strategic direction and long and short term business goals for a multi-state division of Adecco Staffing.  The Senior Vice President is responsible for the overall leadership and management of a team of Regional Vice Presidents in all aspects of operations, including, but not limited to, sales, financial management, delivery, customer service, and field marketing. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategically plans the divisions overall management and objectives, in ensuring they are on target with business unit goals and directives
  • Build, develop, coach and support an effective team; drive achievement of organizational objectives by identifying opportunities for growth and learning while fostering a high performance culture. 
  • Supports and advises the President in decision-making, ensuring that relevant financial and operational data is presented to the President and senior management team in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Demonstrates capability and leadership in making a variety of routine and complex decisions affecting the region and division.  Provides effective communication on the rationale for these decisions to all levels of affected management personnel.
  • Researches, develops, and implements both Sales and Marketing strategies and programs focusing on the retention of present business and the acquisition of new business. 
  • Troubleshoots all systems and procedures in the division and makes necessary modifications and changes to maximize operational efficiency.

 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent, plus a minimum of ten years of combined industry related  experience in the application of complex concepts and principles, and theories from more than one field, or advanced education including at least four years in a managerial role generally required.
  • Knowledge of business/strategic/financial planning, marketing/sales/service techniques, industry business/operations requirements, quota development, and quality requirements plus a thorough knowledge of human resources principles required.  
  • Excellent interpersonal organizational, presentation, and communication also required.
