Overview

The Executive Director is responsible for developing business opportunities as well as increasing branch revenue, gross margin and net income. Responsible for developing a cohesive and productive team for sustaining growth and expansion.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads daily branch sales & recruiting strategy meetings with all colleagues; conducts strategic analyses of monthly, quarterly & annual sales/client reports; and conducts market analyses to develop & execute target sales plan.
  • Executes personally and through team initiatives, the sales & recruiting strategies to ensure revenue goals are met and fill ratios for retail & POTD lines of business are increased.
  • Evaluates all current clients for expansion & cross selling opportunities. Ensures proactive steps are taken to secure the business.
  • Increases client retention by performing regular quality calls to active clients to identify areas of strength and opportunities.
  • Performs strategic analysis of monthly, quarterly & annual sales and client reports; and performs market analyses to develop & execute target sales plan.
  • Drives team performance by setting and reviewing performance metrics; and through conducting weekly staff and training meetings, periodic business review meetings, and team coaching.
  • Conducts branch needs assessment to ensure branch is staffed appropriately to meet market demand & financial targets; hires and on-boards the right people for defined roles.
  • Assesses attitude, aptitude & experience for the role to ensure a good cultural fit within the branch & company.
  • Observes, assesses, and reports on behavior, attitude, areas of development & successes for non-direct, dotted line reports. Aids in their coaching, mentorship, discipline or termination.
  • Manages colleagues, adhering to HR & legal best practices regarding colleague disciplinary action.
  • Designs and executes overall market strategy to ensure annual targets are met.
  • Designs and executes branch/market specific internal & external promotions to drive results and foster an engaging culture.
  • Acts as brand ambassador & leads public relations efforts through networking, speaking engagements, and local community involvement.
  • Leverages local and national agreements & relationships to win local business.
  • Acts as local market liaison to corporate departments, sister companies, leadership teams & colleagues.
  • Reviews weekly aging reports from client services & takes appropriate action to ensure clients are paying their invoices within agreed upon terms; and ensures maintenance of company DSO standards.
  • Ensures company policies and standard operating practices are followed.
  • Serves as liaison and point of escalation to external departments.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field with a minimum of three (3) years of legal professional experience is required. Combination of post-high school education and related professional work experience equivalent to seven (7) years may be considered in lieu of a degree. Previous experience working within an Adecco Group North America business unit or in the staffing or human resources solutions industries is highly desirable. Willingness and ability to travel is required.

  • Knowledge of current sales, sourcing, and recruiting trends, best practices and methodologies within the staffing and workforce solutions industries
  • Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
